Gelatinous lumps in your sperm | UroChannel

Sometimes, sperm may contain thick, gelatinous lumps which take the form of grains of rice or even jelly bears. Dr. med. dr. phil. Stefan Buntrock, urologist from Göttingen, explains this phenomenon in this video on UroChannel. The exact origin is unknown. Theories include dehydration or long periods of abstinence from ejaculation. However, these lumps are not dangerous. But they may cause a temporary obstruction of the urethra and cause pain with ejaculation or urination. Since they have no name, they are called Buntrock-bodies from now on!
