 Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is a major occupational health concern.

 Workers engaged in cement plants, factories, heavy industries, mining, and transportation are at highest risk of occupational NIHL (WHO, 2004 & Azizi, 2010).

 In Malaysia, occupational noise-induced hearing disorders (include NIHL, hearing impairment and Permanent Standard Threshold Shift) was the highest reported occupational disease in 2018 with 4506 cases (87%) (DOSH, 2018).

We hope by watching this video, public will be more aware of the noise hazard and its effects towards workers' safety and health is delivered.
