The first Viennese Pony Carousel was opened at Prater in 1887 and for 129 years horses rode in circles with children on their backs to the sounds of an old organ. The attraction (the oldest at Prater at the time) was closed in 2016 following protests from animal rights activists and visitors. This unusual video shows the original pony / horse ride in action, filmed in 2005 during the European Coaster Club Rhapsody Tour.
