Wiring 2-Aspect Signals to SEEP Point Motors via the Accessory Switch - Live Stream HIGHLIGHTS

Описание к видео Wiring 2-Aspect Signals to SEEP Point Motors via the Accessory Switch - Live Stream HIGHLIGHTS

A few weeks ago I ran a rough-and-ready live stream showing the wiring of some red-green signals to my Gaugemaster PM1 point motors, featuring an in-built SPDT accessory switch which can be used to switch frogs or, in my case, signal colours depending on which route is set. This was a laid back stream with lots of off-topic chat, faffing around, messing with the cameras and in all honesty in the hour and 40 minutes it ran for, I didn't get all that much done, so I've shortened it down to the most important / best bits the best I can.

This video is both a much refined version of the stream and a test for my computer - I've been having problems for a month or 2 where my video editor, DaVinci Resolve, kept crashing when adding text, transitions, or even sometimes when playing back the video. I upgraded to a total of 20GB of RAM to make sure I met and exceeded the required specs, and reset my machine too. I'm glad to say all is working perfectly fine now. The original file was quite large and 1hr 40mins long, so if I figured if my machine / editor was going to choke on something, it'd be this, and as I said, this test was a part-motive for putting this out there.

The signals are here on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3737146921...
