UniSec Air is a medium-voltage switchgear designed for secondary distribution up to 24 kV, 630 A, 20 kA. It contains GSec Air, a general purpose three-position switch disconnector or disconnector for frequent switching applications, with dry air as the insulation medium – that has a global warming potential (GWP) of zero and vacuum interrupter for breaking capacity. The switchgear, when equipped with a disconnector, also contains a vacuum circuit breaker. UniSec Air is fully compliant with IEC standards and the EU F-gas regulation (EU) 2024 / 573 and it is designed with the same footprint, operations, and backward compatibility as the original UniSec switchgear with refined interface, ensuring simple integration into existing networks.
