Punam Rai, जब Punam जी की बेटी 2 महीने की थी तब ससुराल वालों ने इनको 3rd floor से नीचे फ़ेक दिया था। जिसकी वजह से इनका शरीर paralyse हो गया। Punam जी कहती है की उन्होंने मेरे पंख तो काट दिए मै फिर भी ऊँचा उड़ि। किसी और लड़की के साथ ऐसा कभी ना हो इसलिए उन्होनो लड़कियों को Taekwondo सिखाने का फ़ैसला किया।
हमारे समाज मै लड़कियों को हमेशा दबाया है लेकिन Poonam ji कभी नहीं झुकी।

Punam Rai, She was thrown from the 3rd floor by her in-laws, because she gave birth to a girl. Her body was completely paralysed after the incident, as she puts it they clipped my wings but I still flew high. She started learning art and craft and started teaching drawing. To make sure this doesn’t happen with anyone else she also started teaching Taekwondo to young girls. Women have consistently been looked down upon by society but Punam ji always held her head up, Aiming for the skies.
