Suzhou Creek is the mother river of Shanghai, and the history of Shanghai for nearly a thousand years has been recorded on both sides of Suzhou Creek. The section from Beixinjing to Waibaidu Bridge is Suzhou Creek. It was originally called the Wusong River, which rises from the East Taihu Lake, flows through Suzhou, and joins the Huangpu River after arriving in Shanghai.
The water of Suzhou Creek is very clean and the scenery on both sides of the river is very nice.
This time I took a boat to see the scenery on both sides of the Suzhou Creek. There are several routes for the Creek, but I chose the Changning section, which starts from Changfeng Pier, arrives at the East China University of Political Science and Law, and then turns back to Changfeng Pier. The whole trip takes half an hour, and you can see some historical buildings and residential houses. After disembarking the boat, I had a very pleasant stroll in the small park along the bank of Suzhou Creek.
