This is a video of me upgrading the alternator on my 1967 Cadillac Calais. The process would be the same on many older GM vehicles. I used a Powermaster alternator. I upgraded from the original 42 Amp alternator to a 150 amp with an internal voltage regulator. What a difference it has made. I highly recommend it.
