Ingredients
Frozen pea bag (about 800 grams)
1 large onion
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
2 flat teaspoons sweet paprika
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Teaspoon of salt
1 cup of boiling water
Instructions
Put 800g of frozen garden peas in a bowl, pour boiling water on top and set aside. Chop the onion into small cubes and set aside. In a large saucepan over medium flame, heat 2 tablespoons of oil, with the hot oil adding the onion cubes and saute until the onions become transparent. Add a teaspoon of sweet paprika, half a teaspoon of black pepper, a teaspoon of salt, stir, add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, stir, add a cup of boiling water, stir, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Close the lid and cook for another 15 minutes / until the peas are softened.
