The Kremlin expressed concern over a Belarusian military report on July 1. As per the report Ukraine is moving more troops, weapons, and equipment into its northern Zhytomyr region, bordering Belarus. On June 27, the Belarusian Defence Ministry alleged that Ukraine was building up its forces
A spokesman for Ukraine's border guard service said that such statements were part of a Russian-supported "information operation."
