Elves! Cool typefaces! A gigantic man painted green! It's advertising, 1960s-style!

At about one minute in--that's right ONE MINUTE into A 90-SECOND SPOT selling CANNED CORN--I make an appearance with a stuffed Green Giant doll. They did a lot of those character giveaways back in the day (remember Gary Coleman and his Hubert doll, fellow Chicagoans?).

I guess they sold a lot more canned corn back in the day, too.
