𝐏𝐇 𝐁𝐄𝐓 𝐉𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐎 𝐆𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 2024 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘

Bicolana beauty Jeanne Isabelle Bilasan is all set to represent the Philippines at the forthcoming Face of Beauty International 2024 pageant, to be held in Taiwan from September 8-21, 2024.

The coronation night (dubbed Global Grand Finale) is scheduled on September 19 at the Lin Palace, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The 25- year old certified speech language pathologist has been training hard and is more than ready to compete with the 39 other candidates in the 10th edition of the relatively young beauty pageant which originated in Taiwan in 2012.

Asked about her pageant preparations, Belle shares, "I've been doing my best to be in my best shape, so I've been spending hours in the gym. I also give a huge chunk of my time to emotionally prepare myself. Since I'll be competing internationally, that's a completely different ball game and I hope to be more emotionally and mentally steadfast to power through everything."

Aside from her Accessible Healthcare and Rehabilitation advocacy, Belle is also a devout advocate of sustainable fashion.

She explains, "I've always been supportive of sustainable and local fashion, so that's something I really want to shed more light on. In fact, we're doing that with our wardrobe and styling for Face of Beauty International. We tapped budding local designers and even used sustainable and local materials for some of our looks for the big events in the competition."

Amid all the frenzy involved in her pre-pageant preps, Belle feels thankful for the support of her manager, ALV Pageant Circle President/Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria, as well as her Miss World Philippines 'sisters.'

"Since this is the first time that the Face of Beauty International title has formally partnered with Miss World Philippines, there's no denying that there's that pressure to give more than the usual hundred percent," Belle confesses. "And I thank Sir Arnold and all the others who voted for me for this title. It's a privilege that entails a lot of responsibility."

She adds, "I can't deny that there've been days when I feel so completely lost and anxious but my MWP sisters have been so patient in encouraging me that everything will be ok. Krishnah Gravidez, reigning MWP 2024] even messaged me that even though she won't be present at ay sendoff, she'll be rooting for me."

A realist in more ways than one, Belle acknowledges the importance of perspective in winning what could be her biggest battle so far.

She waxes philosophically, "I've learned it the hard way that your biggest competitionin Yourself. And I have to be more self aware in this journey because I know that it is within my hands if I let the pressure consume and self control me, or if it will catapult me to the crown."

What does she plan to accomplish for herself after the pageant, assuming she wins the crown?

Belle says, "I want to see myself before more present and visible in the industry.
I'm competing for Face of Beauty and I want to make a statement that the real standard of beauty is not based on what's on the outside but on what's inside. I want to grow my community and establish my name like the rest of us who dream."

To ensure her chances of victory, Belle, together with her ALV Pageant Circle team, assembled a formidable glam team.

She discloses, "My stylist, Dom Moreno and I decided to bring more of my local designers in this competition. Both of my main gowns are going to be from Bicol, made by talented designers Sir Marjohn Leoncito and Kuya Harold Borlado. My national costume is by SDAristree. I will also be bringing outfits from Mama Renee Salud, House of Pablo Mendez, La Rosa, Marc Soliven, Angela Toleza, Apple Santillan, and Francis Lloyd Gallaga."

"My team is coming with me my hair and makeup artists, my mentors as well as my friends and family."

As she embarks on her Face of Beauty International 2024 journey, Belle expresses her heartfelt gratitude to her many pageant fans.

She muses, "I'm grateful to everybody who has been with me in my journey since day one. As I embark on this journey, I hope I will still have all of you with me. Para sa Pilipinas! Maraming salamat at mahal ko kayong lahat!!!"

The Face of Beauty International 2024 13-day competition schedule from September 8-21 is divided into four parts:

1. Global Swimsuit Competition - Sept. 11, The Westin Tashee Resort, Taoyuan

2. Global Talent Competition - Sept. 12, Taipei City Council Banquet Hall, Taipei

3. Global National Costume Competition - Sept. 15, Asia Pacific Lukang Resort, Changh

4. Global Grand Finale - Sept. 19, Lin Palace, Kaohsiung
