HOW TO CLEAN A LOG BURNER GLASS DOOR | Wood Stove Glass Cleaner

An easy way to clean a log burning stove glass is with ash! You don’t need any expensive wood stove cleaner, all you need is ash, newspaper or tissue and water. The whole procedure will take no more than 5 minutes.
Unseasoned wood, not enough oxygen or not the right temperature within the stove can produce tar, soot and creosote on the glass.
Use a wet newspaper or a tissue as a small ball and dip it into the wood ash from the log burner. Then rub it on the blacken dirty smoked stove glass. Repeat the process as many times as needed. This paste of water and ash is enough to clean any wood burning stove glass in a few minutes. After you are sure that there is no hard dirt remained on the glass, wipe it using a clean tissue or cloth. Repeat if it is necessary. If you clean it often this process will take no more than 2 minutes and your stove will look like new! Important information: This process will not scratch the glass. Enjoy the fire :)
