In this video, I will teach you about the different reasons why your child may have stopped saying words they used to. When toddlers stop saying words they once said, pediatric speech therapists use the term “language regression” to describe what’s happening.

Every toddler will experience language regression to some degree. This video will teach you 3 of the most common causes of language regression in toddlers. However, sometimes language occurs as a characteristic of a development diagnosis. Many people talk about language regression as a sign of autism. I will teach you some ways to distinguish the different types of language regression.

By the end of this video, you’ll have learned about language regression and now how to find support for your toddler if their words don’t come back on their own.
