In this video, we feature the infamous Regigigas-Weezing combination. Regigigas suffers in VGC because of its Slow Start ability, but with the introduction of Weezing and its Neutralizing Gas, Gigas' ability is turned off while Weezing is on the field. As a result, Regigigas becomes an absolute powerhouse, especially in a Dynamax meta with its good speed tier of 100 along with a whopping 160 Attack stat. Because Neutralizing Gas turns off abilities of the opponent as well, things like Intimidate and Prankster moves aren't effective. With Weezing running support moves like Taunt and Will-O-Wisp along with an impressive base 120 defense, Weezing is a reliable support Pokemon for Regigigas.

To support the Gigas-Weezing engine, we have chosen Urshifu-Rapid Strike & Rillaboom to come in from the back and finish the game. Because Gigas puts on immediate offensive pressure turn 1, the opponent is likely also forced to Dynamax. Once all turns have passed, "the boys in the back" can come in and clean up! With the support Dragapult - Coalossal engine. the opponent must guess whether you choose to lead this duo, or the Gigas-Weezing duo. Should they guess wrong, they likely lead poorly into the other, resulting in an easier match. Dragapult boasts more support moves like Will-O-Wisp, Breaking Swipe, and Light Screen to support Coalossal (especially with Surf). Water-Urshifu is able to activate the Weakness Policy into Coalossal as well, while Rillaboom once again comes in from the back to finish the job.
