This recipe is so good and goes really well with a plate of hot rice. Not a big fan of tempeh, but this time its a yes. The combination of flavors and ingredients made this dish taste really good.

Ingredients:
5tbsp of cooking oil
1 large red onion
4 cloves of garlic
4tbsp of chili paste
Little water
2tbsp sweet soy sauce
1tbsp of oyster sauce
1tbsp of brown sugar
100g tempeh (fried)
30g anchovies (fried)
30g peanuts (fried)

Method:
First fry the tempeh, anchovies and peanuts. Once done, get a pan ready and add some oil. Then add the onions and garlic. Cook for 5mins then add the chili paste in together with a little water and let it come to a boil. Next add the sweet sot sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar in. Give it a good mix till it boils then add the fried items in and give it a good mix and our tempeh sambal is ready.
