Deadlight: Director's Cut - Nightmare - No Death Run

Описание к видео Deadlight: Director's Cut - Nightmare - No Death Run

Sigh, what can I say about this game...

The premise is good, the graphics, artstyle and atmosphere are there, but...this gotta be one of the clunkiest games I have ever played in my life. Half the time Randall will just do something completely different from what you want. And it will most likely lead to death. The execution is very amateurish. And this is the Director's Cut, meaning, most problems with the base game got "fixed". Can't imagine what was the original game. You can clearly see the game is barely holding up together. Which is a shame really, because, as I said, the whole thing is a good idea.

Nightmare mode makes you complete the whole game in one sitting without any upgrades. It saves only at the beginning of each chapter. If you die, you start from there. And it wouldn't be that hard if the game was coded properly. Half of my deaths were not my fault.

Also, pacing is strange. Second act is very long, while third one is brutally short. I guess, they went out of budget and wrapped it up fast with what they could. Shame, again.

All in all, if you're easily frustrated, better skip on this one. There's something about this game, though, so if you are willing to try it out, get it on a deep sale (as I did). For a couple of bucks, it's fine.
