New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was at the New York State Capital on Wednesday, pushing for more funding from the State legislature, and was questioned by lawmakers for about five hours. NYS Senator Steve Chan provides his reaction saying he wanted to ask Mamdani about residents he heard from constituents, and that the responses weren't what he was looking for. He added that the State needs to do more to make New York more affordable in regards to utility bills and providing tax refunds.
