As a Rotarian since 2009, I’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous community service initiatives, from small acts of kindness to large-scale projects. Each experience has been special, whether it’s seeing a child’s smile when given food, the joy in their eyes as they receive books, or the heartfelt blessings from senior citizens receiving meals. However, one project stands out and has deeply impacted me—the pediatric heart surgery project.
This initiative connected me with parents whose children were born with heart disease. The resilience and courage they display in the face of such adversity is nothing short of extraordinary. The stories of their struggles and triumphs have left a lasting impression on me.
This project has seen the incredible support of thousands of individuals and organizations, including many dedicated Rotarians. I am profoundly grateful to everyone who has contributed to this life-changing effort.
