White and gold hoops earrings Iris. The style of the earrings is minimalist with geometric forms. Those earrings are very very light, few grams. All my earrings are handmade made by me in my studio. The white of the earrings is the clay color covered with a transparent glaze. A layer of handpainted gold is applied with a brush.

Here is an overview of my process, first the pendant is made using stoneware, which is a high temperature clay like porcelain, so it is solid. Once it is dry, I put the pendant in the kiln for 8 hours, then I glaze the pendant and put it back in the kiln for 10 hours. Finally gold is applied and I do a third kiln.
These earrings are completely made by hands.

Hoops are in brass gold plated.
