Scrooge in Stave One: Key Quotations and Analysis

Welcome to the seventh video in my "'A Christmas Carol' GCSE English Literature Revision" series! In this video, I think about the character Ebenezer Scrooge, and in particular, how he is presented in the story's first stave.

I discuss the different ways in which you might answer the question 'Who is Scrooge?', analyse some key quotations about him that come from this part of the story, and even end with a question for you to think about!
