TRYING EVERY BOBA SHOP IN NYC LIC Boba Tea Tour 🧋

Food trends come and go, but bubble tea aka boba has definitely made its mark here in the 21st Century. If you’ve lived in or have visited NYC in recent years, you have surely seen at least one of these boba shops. In this video, we tried some of the most cutting-edge flavors of boba in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Queens: Long Island City.

LIC has no shortage of bubble tea shops - there are literally boba shops on every street corner. There has been an explosion of bubble tea stores opening up in LIC - there are over 10 great spots that serve boba, some of them being on the same block as each other! Has anyone ever tried them all? They just keep on popping up and we’re all so boba’d up!

We had such a variety of flavors from traditional milk tea to fresh fruit blends, and even different tapioca ball flavors! The selection of teas and assortment of drinks are incredibly impressive in NYC, especially LIC. ’Twas a bobalicious day - we’re addicted once again.

What is bubble tea?
Originating from Taiwan, boba is a drink that usually consists of tea, milk, and tapioca pearls that can be found on the bottom of each cup, and comes with a long, wide straw.
