Born into a prominent Joseon family,
he abandoned all his official positions and assets,
and left for Manchuria with his brothers.

He sold all his assets to establish the Shinheung Academy,
trained independence fighters,
and as a founding member of the Provisional Government,
he was responsible for its legal and financial affairs.

Amidst the hardships of life,
his brothers fell one by one,
and Lee Si-young was the only one who survived liberation.

Even after liberation, he chose responsibility over power,
and even as Vice President,
he refused to step down in the face of injustice.

He was not a hero,
but a man who remained until the very end.

We remember forgotten names.
Forgotten names do not disappear.
