Cornish music by the renowned Troyl / Ceili dance band, Cam Kernewek ( Cornish Step ), known for bringing to life the traditional Celtic music of Cornwall. Jig Corollyn - [ Come Let us ] Dance Jig . Traditional tune, arranged by Cam Kernewek. Recorded 1991. Album notes:

A tribute to Cornish composer, Inglis Gundry , who felt that the old Cornish carols owed their origins to dances and dance music. He suggested that a creative approach to the arrangement of some of these carols might provide a reconstruction of the style of these dances. The three tunes here are taken from the Hutchens manuscript discovered by Inglis Gundry .

The band’s range of traditional instruments included: piano accordion , whistles, Celtic harp , bouzouki , Irish banjo , banjo , bagpipes , fiddle , mandolin , banjoline , bass , flute , bodhran and percussion. Played as a troyl band, dance display team , folk group and early music ensemble .
