Day 3 of the Corvette Blues Cruise with Barry Seelig. We had a morning chock full of museums in Vicksburg (visit 5 & get your "passport" stamped for a free tshirt) The Vicksburg Civil War Museum was a labor of love by Charles Pendleton including all the references to slavery in the declarations of secession by all the Confederate States. Beautiful & moving personal memorabilia, weapons, letters, & a recreation of a slave cabin.
Very tasty lunch at Rusty's, followed by a rainy cruise through the hills, valleys & ravines of the battlefield in Vicksburg MS.
Headed to Natchez next & seafood dinner at Roux 61
