#Volcano

Volcano wall crashed. It broke off and slided into the crater. This happened around 2 pm in the afternoon. I saw it crashing but didn't manage to film the very moment. This footage is seconds after. As you see it is still sliding and smoking. In this video you can aldo see the first eruption after the crash which had been quite crazy. I did not know what to expect next from the volcano so I started retreating and running away (thats why some camera shaking) as volcano behavior in those moments had been very unpredictable. When I returned back to the volcano at 9 pm in the evening (after Meradalir hike) the wall has been "rebuilt" and "restored" with new lava. The old wall melted away or was spewed out of crater in the course of those 6 hours. Check my evening videos from May 11 which I already have uploaded. From my 11th expedition to the Volcano yesterday. May 11, 2021. I did extensive hike. I walked Natthagi trail to the eruption site. Arrived there around 1 pm. Then walked around the new lava to Meradalir valleys. Did some footages there, eventually returning back to the old hill by 9 pm. Left from the parking ca 00.45 past midnight. Long journey but what a material I brought!:)
