We caught rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and even a huge sucker! It was a great day out on the salt river here in Arizona. The salt river trout fishery is ever growing, and is so fun to participate in. We did find some trout today and had a lot of luck on the rooster tail spinner!

The largemouth bass were out and about this day as well ,and we were able to land a few of them on the spinner as well! The salt river Arizona has a huge population of largemouth bass, so fishing is usually pretty good for them. You pretty much are guaranteed a bass if fishing the correct spots.

The salt river in Arizona has been getting stocked with rainbow trout lately so I have been on the hunt. Fish are tricky to find right now, but they are around. Arizona trout fishing is something I am slowly falling in love with.

The urban ponds here in Arizona will be stocked with trout soon! I believe it is supposed to be from the 12-16th. There will be plenty of rainbow trout for everyone to come catch.

The lower salt river trout population can be kept alive if we all do a little bit of catch and release! For every fish you catch, let one go. It will help to preserve this Arizona trout fishing scene for years to come.
