What to Do if you Hate Your Engagement or Wedding Photos. Dealing with buyer's remorse or not liking your photos/generally regretting your photographer choice? The only thing I didn't cover was if your photographer really messed up, it is worth asking for a reshoot. Just make sure it's because the work they delivered to you is not the same as what is on their portfolio. Usually if they really did mess up, a professional photographer should own up to the mistake and offer to make things right. That doesn't necessarily mean a refund, but rather reshooting what can be reshot in a way that is on par with their portfolio. I would only ever ask for a refund if they fail to deliver photos ever (usually only happens with photographers without contracts/amateurs) or lose the images all together and thus cannot deliver them. Always check your contract and be sure you sign one when you hire a photographer :)
