Healthy fats are very important for our overall health and having a balanced diet that keeps us nourished and energized throughout the day. One of the best healthy fat choices we can add to our diet is almonds, and they are now being consumed by health conscious individuals. Just 10 almonds a day can make a significant difference in the quality of healthy fats we consume and the number of nutrients we are getting. You can always consume more than 10 almonds per day, just be sure they fit your caloric and macronutrient needs. Now, lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits of consuming almonds regularly.

1. First, almonds are incredibly nutrient dense. Not only are they a great source of healthy fats, but they are also loaded with many different vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. They are an excellent source of vitamin E, riboflavin, manganese, magnesium, copper, phosphorus and calcium, among many others. In fact, many individuals see almonds as one of the best food choices for over heart health. They can help to lower and regulate blood pressure levels, which is often associated with their good levels of magnesium. Almonds can also help to improve cholesterol levels in the body.
