How to do dressage braids with Shannon Dueck

Great dressage braids can add a level of polish to a winning dressage test, while messy, loose braids can be a distraction from an otherwise great ride. But braiding is hard, especially for beginners! So we asked one of the Team SmartPak barns to help us out. In this video, Sarah Perry – a favorite of Team SmartPak Grand Prix dressage rider and trainer, Shannon Dueck – will show you how to braid a horse’s mane for the dressage ring. She also gives some braiding tips and tricks that she’s learned along the way to help you get the best possible braids when you do it yourself.
