Polar Lights 1/350 Scale Enterprise NX-01 Buildup - The Finale

This is the final segment of the video build series of the Polar Lights 1/350 Scale Enterprise NX-01.

The model is now finished up and mounted on a wood base with custom lighting.
I used the kit supplied base which is shaped like the ship and added some LED strip lights to back light it and then mounted it on the wood base. I used some washers underneath to slightly raise it off the wood surface to allow the blue lighting to come out around the edges.
The effect turned out pretty well.

I finished up some last minute paint details and filled some small light leaks on the model as well since the last video.

I thoroughly enjoyed building this kit. It presented a few challenges but the build has helped me to expand on my experience. I highly recommend this kit if you are a fan of the ship.
It is very detailed and makes for a very cool display piece when it's done.
