Lexus are proud to introduce the UX Concept car, our revolutionary vision for the compact SUV of the future. The compact crossover concept vehicle has been designed to give those living in an ever-connected environment a three-dimensional driver experience.

The world debut of the UX was held at Paris Motor Show, unveiling features such as 3-D Human Machine Interface (HMI) technology, the latest in-vehicle technologies, hologram-style driver’s instrument binnacle and centre console displays.

The instrument binnacle houses a floating, holographic globe which combines digital and analogue information to express a functional and revolutionary user interface. This will be clearly visible to the driver and front passenger.

However, that is just the tip of the iceberg. The latest in-vehicle electrical technologies are displayed in the UX. These include electro-chromatic windows, e-mirror cameras to replace the door mirrors and a demountable sound bar built into the passenger’s side of the dashboard. In the UX every one of your senses will be engaged to prove the enjoyment and performance of your drive.

This three-dimensional, fully-immersive concept is set to change the status quo of the driving experience.
