Best Mid-Range Android Phone 2024 | Vivo V30 5G Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing the Vivo V30 5G, one of the best new mid-range phones I've tested in 2024. With upgraded camera tech, gaming chops and battery life vs the V29, the Vivo V30 5G is pleasurable in almost every area. Here's a hands-on review with the camera, Genshin Impact skills and FunTouch OS (yes, they still haven't changed that name).

It's a proper Android 14 experience on here, with lots of bonus bits (and crapware) stashed on top. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 produces a smooth experience, and the Vivo V30 5G can also cope with intensive gaming on the likes of Genshin. Just not on the absolute top graphics settings.

Battery life is strong, offering many hours of screen on time between charges. That's another upgrade over the V29. And the Vivo V30 5G also boasts a few updates to the camera tech including a fresh 50MP ultra-wide snapper. You've got that same Aura Flash shenanigans, plus a 50MP selfie shooter.

So that's what I think of the mid-range Vivo V30 5G, one of my favourite Android phones that I've reviewed that isn't a thousand pound flagship. Let us know your thoughts below!
