How to Create a Price List and Assign Discounts by Product Category and Product in Odoo

Steps:

Navigate to the Price Lists:

Go to the Odoo dashboard.
Select the Sales or Pricing module.
Click on Price Lists.
Create a New Price List:

Click on the Create button.
Enter the name of the price list (e.g., 'Summer Sale Price List').
Define the currency and other settings like validity dates if needed.
Assign Discounts by Product Category:

Under the Price List Items section, click on Add a Line.
Choose Product Category in the Apply On field.
Select the specific category and set the discount percentage or fixed price.
Save the entry.
Assign Discounts by Product:

Repeat the process to add specific discounts for individual products.
Choose Product in the Apply On field, select the product, and set the discount.
Enable Website Price Lists for Sales:

Go to the Website module.
Navigate to Settings and ensure that Pricelists are enabled.
