This project was prepared to help students learn Bb Blues & prepare a Virtual Concert during Covid 19 remote learning. Rather than perform Sorenson’s Big Band Arrangement, the layers have been simplified down to the “Melody & Solos” with Rhythm Section. I’ve provided 4 sample solos students can use as “topic sentences” to help spark their creative improvisation. This song was then assigned into students’ SmartMusic Accounts.
