Cushion with full-length BOOM does not disappoint. These are bouncy, responsive, soft underneath, and come with great impact protection. The GCU outsole performs in a similar way to the Way of Wade 11, which gives you an excellent stop on most court conditions. Having tried two different sizes, I would recommend going true to size this time to avoid heel slippage and make up for the lack of security around the ankle area. The upper material used does depend on the colorway, but mesh, leather, suede, these all feel very nice and comfortable on feet. Aside from these things, the Encore comes in at around average width and average weight. For the bounciness and amazing outsole performance, plus the good quality of materials, I would strongly recommend this newest version of the All City 12 - basically a mini WOW 11…
