Building a Helix Dual Amp Live Guitar Rig (Part 1) - Line 6, G90, Furman, Powerstage, Gator

Описание к видео Building a Helix Dual Amp Live Guitar Rig (Part 1) - Line 6, G90, Furman, Powerstage, Gator

In this vlog I talk about why I left the Positive Grid Rack/Amp & Korg PitchBlack behind in favor of rack with the Helix Rack with Foot Controller (not the same thing as the Helix Floor), Seymour Duncan Powerstage 700, Line 6 Relay G90 guitar wireless system, and the Furman M-8x2 power conditioner. Yes, I JUST built the Positive Grid rig, but It just didn't check all the boxes for me. This new touring/gigging/live setup allows me to run stereo amps, get rid of the 4-cable method (4CM), and minimize pedals/pedalboard clutter. I went from a spaghetti cable mess to one self-contained rack using this equipment. Sometimes you just need to scrap everything and start over.

I'd love to know how your rig is set up! Drop me a comment and let me know!

This is part 1 of the rig build. In the next video, I'll be wiring everything up, talking through the Seymour Duncan Powerstage, and maybe diving into configuration and operation a bit.

I do want to say that I'm not knocking the Positive Grid Head or Rack (or plugins). They all sound amazing, but they just don't fit my new direction in my band (Beneath Vultures).
