This video contains the Janam Sakhi of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. We have tried to include some of the most prominent events from the earlier life of Baba Nanak. Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji (also called Baba Nanak) is the 1st Guru of Sikhism. He was born on 15 April, 1469 at Rai Bhoi Di Talvaṇḍi (now known as Nankana Sahib, Pakistan). Guru Nanak Dev ji laid the foundation of Sikhism. He preached the real meaning of god as being Supreme, formless, creator of all things, omnipresent, everlasting, all giver and absolute truth. Guru Nanak Dev ji wrote several hymns including Japji Sahib, Barahmah, Asa Di Var to name a few.
