Brand new video of the abandoned Windpass Mine! Frank and Sharon come out of retirement and explore an abandoned mine at Dunn Lake close to Little Fort BC. The Windpass was a Gold Mine that closed in 1939. It had a 4 mile aerial tram that transported ore from the mine to Dunn Lake. A forest fire in 2024 destroyed the remaining buildings but we were still able to get underground and explore the mine.
This is a fast paced and exciting Mine Exploration Channel. We have been in hundreds of abandoned mines in Canada, United States and Mexico. Recently we have purchased our own abandoned mine the Yankee Boy Mine! We are rehabilitating the mine so the public can explore an abandoned mine for themselves safely.
