Finance Minister Etela Rajender said that the government has committed to cleansing irregularities in civil supplies department. Etela said that the government had no idea of cash transfer in the civil supplies. He also asserted that govt is taking stringent action against illegal activities in the dept and so far, more than 3,000 cases have been registered and the rice worth Rs 18 crore was seized. Minister announced that govt would soon take a decision on salary hike for ration dealers.
