Hi there. My name is Sisso El-Hamamsy. I’m the Co-Founder and President of Mage Networks. Mage Networks has developed an exciting new technology called MagiNet™™ which will allow us to provide high-speed wireless internet access anywhere and everywhere. So, we’re here at the home of Dana and Ken Dickens in Nanton, Alberta. And we will build a data pipeline that will connect this home to the ranch of Mark & Kelly Fox who are residing about 10 kms outside of town.

To start the data pipeline, we have a MagiNode™ here, configured as a gateway and its connected to the router in a simple connection that provides us with internet access. As we go down the road and deploy multiple relays to get to the ranch, we will also be able to provide ourselves with Wi-Fi access to the internet, even when we are out in the middle of nowhere.

I’m going to raise the tripod to point the unit out to the street so it can connect to the relay that we are going to install out there.

So now we’re out in the street where we have installed this first data pipeline relay, with one unit pointing back to the house, which is connecting to the unit that we set up inside. Then the other unit is pointing down the road where we’re going to install the third relay of data pipeline. You can tell the units are connected when you look at the back of them. They have a red LED that lights up to show a single strong connection.

So one of the most powerful features of MagiNet™ is the ability to avoid obstacles. We’ve got the trees back there and they would normally be blocking the radio frequencies, but we’ve lowered the tripod so that our actual point of connection is underneath the leaves. As you can see here from the LEDs, we’ve got an orange and a red LED, which indicate two connections, which means that the unit here is connected to the relay that was installed by the rest of our team, about 4 kms away.

So now we’re going to head down the road to go to the next relay to continue building the data pipeline all the way to the ranch.

Here we are, in the middle of nowhere.

So this is now the second data pipeline relay, after the one we had on the road, and we out here, out of town about 4 kms. As you can see, these two units are back to back. The one unit is connected to the one we just left a while ago and this unit will be connected to another unit down the road this way. Then we’re going to put up a couple more relays, and we’ll be at the ranch. We will have covered 10 kms. Right now we’re able to get Wi-Fi connectivity where we are in the middle of this field.

Right now, we’re on Airplane Mode here, as you can see, with only the Wi-Fi connection – it’s the only thing that is connecting us - through the MagiNet™ to the internet. And now I’m going to show you a YouTube video.

So here we are at the last node, right by the ranch here, and we’re going to show you Wi-Fi there at the ranch in a couple of seconds. As you can see, it’s starting to snow on us, so we were lucky that we were able to deploy before it gets too hard on our heads. But here we are at the end of the data pipeline.

So I have the cell phone set again to Airplane Mode so that it doesn’t have LTE connection. The only way we are connected is through the Wi-Fi. We’ve brought the Wi-Fi connectivity all the way from Nanton, all the way out here – 10 kms – and here’s the YouTube video. It’s some kind of chicken playing the piano.
