Nick Griggs turned 17 in December and is now running a 3:56 for the indoor mile. Most people aim for a sub 4 mile in track and field. Nick has done it before he becomes an adult.

3:56 ranks Nick 2nd all time in the u20 age group for the Indoor Mile. 1 place ahead of American Hobbs Kessler. Other people in the top 5 are Tinman elites Drew Hunter and 3 time USA champion Cole Hocker. It is also a European u20 Record for the indoor mile distance.

As well as this well under sub 4 mile. Nick is the u20 3000m champion. A feat he achieved against people 3 years older than him.
