1968 Dodge Charger Restoration - Episode 34 - Quarter Panel Install - Part 1

In this episode I start by preparing the quarter panels for installation. This includes drilling all of the plug weld holes, deburring, sanding, and spraying Lizard Skin ceramic coating. I then move on to some rust cleanup and surface prep for the c pillars and inner quarter structure. This is absolutely the time to rebuild your rear window regulators! I finish up by fitting all of the panels one last time.

In the next video I will be welding in the rear quarters for good! I'll also be leading the sail panels and doing a step by step DIY for you! All of the hard work needed to install all of the metal for this car is finally coming to a head! The end is in sight!

After the quarter panel install i'll be installing a US Car Tool Stage 3 Chassis Stiffening Kit, rear spring relocation kit, and also a passenger door skin. That should be the last of the metal work!
