Poverty: Is There Hope? | (in the Philippines)

Most people who live in modern, first-world countries have no clue what it's like to struggle against a system that barely provides them the means to survive. I'm going to interview several common Filipinos, and see how they meet this struggle, and what their hopes and dreams are for the future. Prepare to be underwhelmed.
There is an ingrained system of perpetual poverty here, and while I don't have the answers, I'll at least take a look at what things are really like for people fighting to stay above water here in the Philippines.......
