I call this game CRITTER SWING in my PE class. My elementary students love to play it in physical education class. They also play it as a recess game.
Works on many skills like rhythm, jumping, and timing.
Tie a small plush stuffed animal (Beanie Babies work great) to the end of a jump rope. Have kids stand in a circle with one student holding the rope in the middle. The swinger swings the rope in a circle. You are out of the game if you stop the rope by hitting it or missing the jump. Eliminate students until you have a winner. SO MUCH FUN!
