I still find people asking this question and having this problem. After an intake manifold swap on a k series Honda it won’t run or runs rich stalls or idles rough and won’t rev. The issue is the compatibility between the intake manifold and the throttle body. Because I used a CRV as the donor car on my ES1 I used the loom and ECU which required me to use the throttle body also. After upgrading the intake manifold from the plastic bbm type to an integra alloy intake I noticed there was no provision for the MAP sensor. This can be rectified a few ways but I went with the cheapest and easiest option. Here is how i fixed the issue in detail.
