Parent Orientation Program 2024 at Gnan Srishti School of Excellence

Parent orientation programmes for the parents of grades PREKG to 12 were organized on May 25, 2024, Jun 1st 2024 and Jun 8th 2024, to familiarize them with the educational approach, curriculum, teaching methodology, infrastructure, facilities. The school team comprising the academic mentor Dr Chithra, the subject teachers, the coscholastic teachers, and the admin staff members were formally introduced to the parents. The principal Ms. Priya Ramakrishnan cordially welcomed the parents and assured them of the school’s commitment to ensure their child’s holistic growth and development. She also spoke about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers. The event also included an interactive session to address parents’ queries and foster a collaborative community spirit. It helped the parents in identifying suitable methods to reinforce the learning process of their children. The programme ended with parent sessions conducted by the psychologist Dr Anisha Mahendrakar on highlights of mindful parenting for children in the respective age groups. She also stressed on the need for building a positive relationship between parents and children to overcome common children issues.
