Dry Tortugas National Park | Snorkeling With a Crocodile

Dry Tortugas is a remote National Park located 70 miles off the coast of Key West. You can only get there via a ferry that leaves out of Key West's Conch Harbor Marina, or by sea plane. The park consists of seven islands (and 100 square miles of mostly open water), but the main attraction is on the second largest island "Garden Key", where fort Jefferson is located.

The snorkeling was amazing, even though we didn't have the 'best' conditions that the park usually has. On top of the abundance of fish and coral, we also had a big ray and an American crocodile in the water with us.
