Hello and welcome to my channel Doctraveller MN.
This is the second episode of the Sasaram series, day 1 exploration of places near Sasaram
On day 1 we visited
1. Maa Mundeshwari Temple- the oldest functioning (where prayers are still offered) in Bihar and Northern India. Maa Mundeshwari is a form of Maa Durga, and you will see Chatur-mukha (four-faced) shiv Linga. It is a one-of-a-kind Hindu temple and is a must-visit site.
2 Karkatgarh waterfall- This waterfall lies within Kaimur wildlife sanctuary and is a fall on river kamanasa at the border of UP and Bihar. A majestic waterfall also functions as crocodile breeding centre.
3. Karamchat Dam - a beautiful dam within the hills of Kaimur where rain water is collected to be canalised for agricultural purposes of near by villages.
