TRIP REPORT | An Alternative to RYANAIR? | WizzAir A321Neo | Vienna to Barcelona

Wizzair Trip Report flying from Vienna to Barcelona onboard one of the new Wizzair Airbus A321 Neo, operated by Wizzair Malta, on a perfect summer morning.

A lovely flight onboard the Wizzair A321Neo from Vienna to Barcelona. The flight was fully booked, however, this time a little kid and his mother were the ones seated next to me, so the space when you have somebody who doesn't reach the floor when seated gets a lot more comfortable.

We took off on time from runway 29 in Vienna, just with the Sunrise. After performing the standard departure, with the usual turn at 500ft altitude, we headed to the Alps and started our route to Barcelona. We left the city of Vienna on our right and set an almost direct course to Milan.

We flew at 34,000 feet over the Alps; if we add that there were no clouds at all, you can imagine how amazing the views were. After 40 minutes we reached the Milan area, which was completely under fog, and continued towards the French Alps, heading to Marseille. From Marseille, we flew almost directly to Barcelona, where we landed on time approaching from the west, not very common at Barcelona Airport.

This flight, as the title and thumbnail say, was operated by Wizzair Malta. Another Wizz Air airline? Yes, another one (in case you didn't know, they had 7 so far). Is it just the same with another name? Do they offer the same product? Maybe something more premium? Do they have the same prices? We'll talk about it on the video of course and we'll talk also a little about Radiation Fog, a type of fog that today was over Milano and that all you have seen many times, but maybe don't know what it is. I think you'll find it interesting!
